📄 Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 February 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Contacts – Phone Dialer, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.

App Usage

Contacts – Phone Dialer provides contact management features, call logging, and Caller ID functionality. The app is designed to help you identify incoming calls and manage your personal contacts efficiently. Users are responsible for using the app in compliance with all applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations.

Caller ID and Overlay Functionality

The app utilizes a screen overlay to display Caller ID information when an incoming call is detected.

This feature requires specific device permissions (such as Display Over Other Apps and Phone State access) to function correctly.

The app does not replace your system's default dialer for receiving calls; it acts as a supplementary Caller ID utility.

Users can disable the Caller ID overlay or revoke the required permissions at any time through their device settings.

Third-Party Services and Advertisements

The app is supported by advertising and utilizes third-party services (such as Google AdMob and Firebase) to display ads, monitor app performance, and analyze crashes. By using the app, you acknowledge that these third-party services may collect device and usage data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

Any calls made using the app's dialpad or contact list.

Any standard network, data, or calling charges applied by their mobile network provider.

Maintaining accurate and lawful contact information within their device.

The developer does not control network services, call routing, or call quality.

Limitation of Liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The developer is not responsible for missed calls, call interruptions, inaccurate Caller ID matching, data inaccuracies, or service availability issues caused by device limitations, operating system behavior, or network providers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app.

Modifications and Availability

The app’s features may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time to improve performance, security, or compatibility.

Termination

Users may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. The developer reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the app's services if required by law or platform policies.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by applicable local laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
